Dear World’s Cocoa Community,

On behalf of the Indonesian Cocoa Association, we would like to invite and welcome all of you to join us in the ninth Indonesian International Cocoa Conference in July 2026.

​

The world of cocoa & chocolate has experienced supply and demand dynamic of historic magnitude of which we have never seen. A supply shock to the world’s cocoa value chain stunned farmers, producers, chocolatiers, and consumers alike. Amidst the on-going uncertainties of the cocoa world, Indonesia’s cocoa farmers and industries remain resilient in meeting the demand of cocoa and chocolate lovers around the world.

 

Indonesia’s cocoa is indeed the pearl of the world, a light shining through the fog of uncertainties. Our cocoa production has risen to 200,000 tons in 2024, a 25% rise from previously 160,000 tons in 2022. Support from the Indonesian Government is vitally valuable whom has stepped in and showcased its commitment to deregulate hindering policies to cocoa development whilst creating a plantation agency as a way forward towards investing significantly to cocoa farmers across the archipelago.

 

Indonesia is ready to be at the center of the world’s cocoa stage and we are thrilled to welcome the world’s cocoa community to Indonesia. We truly believe the opportunities dan challenges amidst the uncertainties that our sector faces can be captured and addressed collaboratively by all stakeholders and actors of the value chain. We are excited and look forward to our in-depth interaction, discussion, and synergies to advance our beloved cocoa sector now and into the future for the prosperity of all cocoa stakeholders around the world.
